The jersey in detail : Extremely rare 30-year-old training jersey in superb condition for its age, despite minor wear around the sponsor. The rest of the piece is simply perfect. 9/10.

History : Training jersey worn by the Milan players under Arrigo Sacchi. It would be the first trophyless season in three years for Van Basten's teammates, who would finish second in Serie A, behind Sampdoria. In Europe, they would be eliminated from the Champions League by OM in the quarter-finals, after a bizarre sequence of events: following a power outage in the 75th minute, the Milan players refused to return to the pitch (they were losing 1–0), hoping to win by default. Ultimately, they were eliminated and suspended from the next European competition.
